Change is complicated
A new chapter can hold more than one feeling at once.
Graduating. Starting college. Leaving home. Changing careers. Becoming a parent. Ending a relationship. Moving. Entering a new stage of adulthood. Sometimes the transition is visible to everyone; sometimes it is an internal shift that is difficult to name.
You can be grateful and grieving. Excited and terrified. Ready for something new and still miss what came before. Those feelings do not cancel each other out.
Finding your way
We can slow the transition down enough to hear yourself think.
Therapy can help you separate what you want from what you think you are supposed to want, notice patterns that no longer fit, and build practical ways to manage uncertainty, anxiety, and stress.
Together, we can look at what you are carrying forward, what you may be ready to leave behind, and what you want this next season of your life to look like.
How we work
Practical support with room for the bigger questions.
I combine genuine conversation with evidence-based tools, including person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance-based approaches. We will use what is useful and leave room for your experience to guide the work.
There isn't one right reason to come to therapy.
You might be here because…
You do not need to have the next chapter mapped out. Sometimes the work is simply creating enough space to discover what you want it to become.
You don't have to figure it all out first.
A free 15-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions, tell me a little about what brings you to therapy, and see how it feels to talk together.
